
Pecorino grilled cheese
Serving size 1
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of sourdough, rye, white or any bread of your choice
- 2 tbsp smooth (not frozen or cold) butter (if your butter is hard, then vegan mayo works great)
- 1-2 slices of young pecorino cheese (we love Pecorino Fiore Sardo)
- 2 tbsp Cardamom Almond Nūch
Recipe:
- Preheat your skillet on medium heat
- Evenly spread a thin layer of butter or vegan mayo on the outside of the bread
- Evenly spread 1 tbsp of Nūch on the inside of the bread (both sides) and place the cheese in the middle
- Griddle the sandwich until it is golden on both sides and the cheese is melted, about 4 minutes. Give it a press into the skillet (if using that method) to encourage crisping.
- Slice the grilled cheese in half on the diagonal and enjoy immediately
